It was going on five in the evening and King was exhausted. He had been in business meetings all day. He was investing in more businesses and had been running numbers off to people since early morning. Most people didn’t understand why he didn’t go to school for accounting because he was just that good with numbers.

When he got home Ryan wasn’t there which was weird because the last time he had talked to her she was leaving the hospital headed home. He dialed her cell phone and it went straight to voicemail. Something was telling him that something wasn’t right. He dialed her cell again only to get the same result. He then dialed the security that was supposed to be with her but there was no answer. “What the fuck is really going on?” he asked out loud. As if on cue his phone rung.

“Bruh, shit just got real. You need to meet me at the spot ASAP.” Rahsaan hung up immediately. King’s instincts were right. Something was wrong. He quickly headed out the door to meet Rahsaan.

When King got to the warehouse in Chesterfield just about all of RBM was there including his brother and his crew. He knew this wasn’t good. “Get to it and don’t play with me. Where the hell is my girl?” he demanded.

“When that shit went down with Jarelle snatching Ryan, Ava and I knew extra security was needed. So we made sure it was covered. Long story short he has her again but we know where she is and we’re ready to go get her. The only other thing is Cameron was snatched from Ryan’s mother’s house too. So we have to be extra careful because their lives depend on it.”

For a minute all the air in King’s lungs seemed to leave. His son and his wife were gone. He tried to hold it together but they were his weakness. Harlem walked over to his brother and hugged him. “We got this, bro. No worries. We coming up out of there with your son and your wife and we pumping them bitch made niggas full of lead.” King wanted to believe Harlem but he wouldn’t be convinced until his family was home.
